Situated centrally within the prestiges streets of Double Bay this homes frontage is everything. The planting of mature palms and cloud pruned trees within the entry helps balance the size and impact of the building. The space is practical and aesthetic, as the permeable driveway pleases green thumbed home owners whilst maintaining use of a surfaced driveway. Mixed material pallets give character to small landscapes. Here we have used vertical timber screening and wire trellising to the rear to encourage vertical plant growth that takes up less space in the garden, with addition of a huge glazed pot and cascading foliage.

Designed by renowned landscape design firm Adam Robinson Design brings us an outdoor space with character and vibrancy that carries throughout the property. Low maintenance is in mind for gardens that are more difficult to access. This poolside landscape is elevated by the use of sculptural plant selection which includes a contrast in texture, colour and shape. The rear entry to the home uses large, organic shaped limestone steppers through the garden connecting the studio garage to the main residence without a dominating focal point to the garden.

A stunning 1930’s renovated ground floor apartment vaunts its timeless design and extensive use of space. With beautiful materials complimenting each other in texture and colour, this exterior pallet consists of burnished and board form concrete and travertine crazy pave sourced through Eco Outdoor, also extending into the interior with similar hues of micro cement walls and ceilings to the bathroom. Carefully selected furnishings brings each and every room together tailored to the eclectic home owner.

This project positioned on a sideways sloping block of Bondi as it perfectly positioned behind the Morton-Bay Fig tree. Upon completion of this build shows the importance of natural materials within the landscape which has helped soften the structure whilst not taking away from its beauty. We love how freeform walling and natural flooring finishes have brought this project to life.

Our clients gave us the brief to bring this 1890 heritage courtyard back to life. We did exactly that. A carefully constructed space with thoughtful use of paired materials creates a contemporary feel within the heritage property. An excellent display of balance and continuity between these sandstone stairs and flooring. The heavily distressed finishes give a sense of story to its environment. This secondary entrance caters access to the garage and gardens.

Engaged in collaboration with Outdoor Establishments we have installed natural materials in the landscapes due to their character and versatile applications. Carefully fencing the property whilst maintaining view of the Sydney's middle harbour the space benefits dramatically from the selected finishes. This limestone crazy pave coping and hardwood timber screening working with each-other to bring warmth and texture to the space.

This apartment renovation takes advantage of the northern aspect introducing light throughout the rooms, giving the home a light and airy feel. Robust material selection including travertine flooring, timber cabinetry, stainless steel benches and micro cement walls ensure the longevity of each space. The continuity of natural material throughout the home gives a calming experience whilst moving throughout the small residence. Light linen sheers muffle the light and create movement amongst the large floor to ceiling openings.
